Betsy Covington, the Executive Director of Chattahoochee Valley's Community Foundation has recently announced that they will be committing $50,000 to various local schools through DonorsChoose.org.
The Community Foundation is a nonprofit charitable organization that administers more than 170 charitable awards and grants, all in an attempt to support initiatives in the fields of youth development, education, community enrichment and the arts.
