Rotary honors six People of Action: Champions of Peace.
The honorees' projects empower farmers and refugees, heal postwar trauma, and establish dialogue among diverse groups.
The Rotary Club of Global Partners in Peace, North Carolina, recognized six members and alumni as People ofaction: champions of peace in January.
The program, called Leadership Dialogues, is now used in communities across the U.S.
and around the world.
