How Huddersfield Entrepreneur Jacob Hill Is Helping Ex-Offenders Back Into Society

Jacob Hill made headlines as a 19-year-old when he set up a company called The Lazy Camper selling tents and all the equipment people need to go to music festivals.

He was named Yorkshire's Young Entrepreneur of the Year.

But when the business hit a tough financial period Jacob turned to selling drugs at Leeds Festival to try to make some money but was caught and jailed for two years and four months in 2015.

Since his release he has set.

up a social enterprise mentoring programme for ex-offenders called Offploy to try.

to give them a second chance in life and get them into work.
